There are frameworks to help identify: the knowledge and performance required of health professionals in particular areas of cancer care; and the support organisations need to provide to health professionals to learn and apply new knowledge and skills.
Key documents such as the National Service Improvement Framework for Cancer Services provide the system wide context and service delivery priorities which underpin education and training programs.
Extended case studies are provided for inclusion in education and training programs, either in whole or in part. Information and resources from a range of mentoring projects are also included.
