Introduction

These resources are designed for health professionals who do not have specialised knowledge in cancer care for example: general practitioners, pharmacists, nurses, allied health, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, aboriginal health workers and dieticians.

Some knowledge and understanding of the effects of cancer and cancer treatments both physical and psychological will assist non-specialists in providing optimal care and support to cancer patients and their families.
